With over 35 years of drumming experience and 20 years of being an educator, KJ is no stranger to music! He began teaching as a way to pass along the sense of accomplishment he got when he first started learning. Every student has individual needs, so there's no one set course that KJ uses.
In the school band? KJ can help students prepare for their upcoming concerts. Just want to learn to play along with your favorite songs? KJ is available to transcribe any song and help you learn the techniques involved to play along. KJ is also fluent on the guitar and bass and uses those instruments to play along with students when learning new material. Genres include rock, pop, jazz, latin, gogo, funk and metal drumming and more! |
